For this prompt, I have chosen to write a piece of nonfiction.

I would like to introduce you to a lawyer. Here he is.

“This will be great,” I said as I turned on the oven. “Rita will be impressed for sure.”

Prompt: “Would you rather fall in love with a very kind person who will never return your love? Or would you rather fall for a cruel person who loves you back?”

“Her.” they repeated. “Your Majesty is choosing to love her.”

“Yes,” the King replied.

“But Your Majesty should think on what kind of person she is.”

“I have.”

Prompt: “Bruh, that’s not what the tiny egg said.”

“Check it out,” said the Blue Knight. “This den got even more swag than the last one.”

The Blue Knight and the Red Knight got to work filling their cloaks with treasure.

“It was so worth slaying this dragon,” said the Red Knight. “I didn’t think it had this much treasure. We’re finally getting paid the way we should be.”

Prompt: “Discover”

Tonight I’m sitting just behind the buildings on Town Hall Hill and looking down at the world turn their lights out house by house. It’s a cool summer night and the moon and the stars are out, shining like distant lighthouses in the great inky sea above me. There’s nobody else here. The entire circus troop has retired for tonight after our performance and the people of the town who watched us have all gone home.

This whole trip is lame.

I didn’t even want to travel this summer. I hate travelling. Mom and Dad had to go and get a stupid Visa and their excuse is that they want me to experience what life is like outside of China. They probably gave up on me going to a good domestic university and that’s why they’re just trying to get me to leave the country to go to school.

Well to hell if I care. I’m going to dance academy after I graduate.

Prompt: “Bloviate”

I actually took this prompt as an opportunity to write a short episode from the past/backstory of the novel I’m currently working on. The kingdom has three high authorities in the novel and this is about them when they were younger.
