The zoo inspection had been a little strange, but at least it was done and I could go home now.

The first thing that comes to me is a period. I remember being told that because of the change in atmosphere, my menstrual cycle would probably be wonky for a bit.

But honestly, it doesn’t feel so different here. From afar, Earth looked really different from our planet, but now that I’m here, I see more similarities than differences. I reported this to Bethany and she said that the atmosphere is actually very similar to ours on AXV-04. It’s just that the people and their society have drastically different values. “Alright,” said Mr. Matherson, sitting himself at the head of the table in the board room. “Give me a debrief and toss me your ideas. The fate of Toronto is in our hands.”

“Shadethrower is after the North Stone for sure,” said a big man in red spandex. “All his actions are targeted at previous guardians of the Stone.”

Prompt: “After all these years of repeating the same mistake, I hope I finally learned my lesson this time.”

The stranger opened the door and stepped inside out of the pouring rain. His footsteps were very quiet on the wooden floors as he walked towards the study at the end of corridor, where the faint light of a gas lamp glowed.

The study’s door was slightly ajar. The stranger did not knock. He pushed the door open and entered.
