In the last several months I have been writing short stories based on prompts from my friends. It started first with my editor-friend giving me weekly prompts to help me write more. After a month, I figured it would be good to get prompts from other friends too, so I requested them on a post in Facebook.
I got fourteen prompts that became fourteen short stories (one is non-fiction, but is still a story nonetheless). So here I will take you through the journey that shows how each of these fourteen stories was born and how a theme and structure unintentionally developed.
